Imagine if you will, a little girl aged seven, having known nothing so secure as the orphanage she was taken from two days earlier, seeing for the first time her new home. The Jaeger/Weiss farm. Goldie Weiss had selected her, sight unseen, from her meticulously placed toys on her footlocker! Grandma said, “She’s the one I want!” Five words that influenced so much to so many. Her early years on the farm showed her what true love, life, and work was all about. She carried all these at-tributes with her, her entire life. No one loved harder, lived harder, and certainly ever worked harder than Amy Jo Kenney Weiss Bonner Monasmith. She loved us all and she slaved for us all. Thank you Grandma Goldie and Grandpa George for your selection on that day, we were so blessed as a result.
