Arleen Kunnemann
Arleen Grace Kunnemann was born March 15, 1929 to Arthur and Grace (Case) Bremer in Imperial, Nebraska. She attended the District 22 School and went on to graduate from Chase County High School.
Arleen married Orville Kunnemann on June 18, 1950. The couple was united in marriage at Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial. The couple settled on a farm west of Imperial. Arleen taught for four years in country schools. Besides teaching she raised the couple’s 3 children and helped Orville with the many demands of a farm.
Arleen was also very active in the Imperial community; she was a member of the Hospital Auxillary, Willing Workers and was a 4-H leader for many years. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and sharing her talents as a member of the Zion Lutheran Church Choir.
Arleen passed away Tuesday morning, June 12, 2012 in Imperial, Nebraska. She was 83 years old.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cleo and Don Bremer, sister Maxine Johnson, son Doug, daughter-in-law Karen and grandson Jeffrey.

Funeral Services for Arleen Kunnemann will be held Friday morning, 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at Chase Cemetery, rural Imperial, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Imperial.
A memorial has been established to Zion Lutheran Church Choir and Zion’s Bell-Choir
