Brian Harchelroad
Brian Lee Harchelroad was born on September 25, 1966, In Imperial, Nebraska, to Gene and Wilva (Richards) Harchelroad. Brian attended Wauneta Public Schools, graduating from Wauneta High School in 1985. He continued his education at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where he earned a business degree. He played football for the University of Nebraska from 1985-1989. After graduation from college, Brian married Michelle L. DeWester on August 26th, 1989, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The couple returned Wauneta, where Brian joined the family business, Harchelroad Motors.
Brian was proud of his hometown and loved the people in it like his own family. He loved the Lord and displayed that faith in his generosity, friendships, strength and kindness. Brian and his family attended the Hamlet Union Church of Hamlet, Ne. He was an Eagle Scout as a young man, and later became a scout leader. Brian enhanced the Wauneta Community with his leadership and services to others. He was a friend to many and his big smile, good humor and positive attitude will be missed.
Surrounded by family, Brian away Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. He was 52 years of age.

Brother-In-Law: Chad DeWester and wife, Jennifer, of Wauneta, NE
Sister-In-Law: Teresa Wynn and husband, David, of Owasso, OK

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Sidney.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, August 15, 2019, 10:30 A.M. at the Wauneta Public High School Gymnasium, Wauneta, NE with Mr. David Wynn officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, NE
Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon, August 14, 2019, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wauneta Chamber of Commerce for new welcome signs and all other memorial money will go toward a scholarship fund in memory of Brian.
