Charlotte Lucas Charlotte Lucas, 57, died Friday, March 28th, 2014 at home. She was born to Arthur and Donna Hilzer in Cheyenne, Wyoming on October 1st, 1956. She moved to Imperial with her family as a youngster and graduated with the Chase County High School Class of 1975. She married Dennis Lucas on June 7th, 1975 in Wauneta, Nebraska. The couple was married for 39 years. Charlotte was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed working part-time for Maddux Cattle Company, she enjoyed going to card club, and she loved her grandkids and family, as well as her favorite lap companion, Missy the Min-Pin. She was preceded in death by her parents Art and Donna Hilzer. Survivors include: Husband, Dennis Lucas of McCook Son, Chad (Mary) Lucas of Benkelman Daughter, Diane Nolan of McCook 4 Grandchildren: Branden Lucas and Brittanie Nolan of McCook and Daphne Lucas and Cooper Lucas of Benkelman; 1 great-grandchild, Daelynn Lucas of McCook Sister, Leda Hilzer of Paso Robles, CA Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. (MT), Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta with Pastor Bonnie McCord officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, Nebraska. No visitation, Charlotte chose cremation. A memorial has been established in her memory.
