Cynthia Roesener

Cynthia Jean (Laughlin) Roesener was born March 4th, 1958, in Durango, Colorado, to Patricia Jeanette (Beebe) and George Luther Laughlin. Cindy grew up and attended school in Colorado where she graduated with the class of 1977 from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado.

On August 9th, 1979, Cindy married Randy Ray Roesener in Boulder, CO, and the couple settled in Imperial, Nebraska. Cindy was employed at the Chase County Roads Department, Hill’s Family Foods and Prairie States Communications. She was a member of the Imperial Library Board and in her free time, Cindy enjoyed knitting, reading, camping, fishing and playing cornhole. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Cindy passed away January 29, 2022, at the Imperial Manor, Imperial, Nebraska. She was 63 years of age.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Jeromy and sister-in-law Jana Pribbeno.

Survivors include:
Husband: Randy of Imperial, NE.
Daughter: Amanda Jean Coffey and husband Justin of Ulysses, KS.
Daughter: Brandi Renee Roesener and David Contreras of Cheyenne, WY.
5 Grandchildren: Blain and Landry Coffey, DeMarcus, Dante and Coraline Contreras.
Brother: Michael Laughlin and wife Michele of Parker, CO.
Mother-In-Law: Joyce Roesener of Imperial, NE
Father-In-Law: John Roesener and wife, Barbara, of Plainfield, WS
Uncle and Aunt: Richard and Patricia Laughlin of Highlands Ranch, CO.

Funeral services for Cindy will be held Friday, June 10, 2022, 10:30 A.M. (MT), at the United Methodist Church in Imperial, NE, with Pastor Debra Copple officiating. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, NE.

A memorial has been suggested in Cindy’s memory to the Imperial Library.
