• Darroll Terwilliger
Darroll Lynn Terwilliger was born August 28, 1951, at Stratton, Nebraska, to Wiley G. and Fern G. (Knight) Terwilliger. As a young man he grew up and attended school in Stratton, graduating from Stratton High School in 1970. Darroll then went on to attend vocational training in Sidney and North Platte, Nebraska. He specialized in auto mechanics.
On September 7, 1974, Darroll married Sherry Ann Haller in Dacono, Colorado. The couple made their home in McCook, where they have continued to live until present. Darroll was employed as a mechanic in the McCook area. He also worked for TRW and Stickney’s Retread. Later he became a custodian and was employed at several locations including McCook Community College, Curtis Agricultural College and the McCook Gazette.
Darroll was a member of the United Methodist Church of Stratton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and he looked forward to their graduations.
Darroll passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017, at his home in McCook, Nebraska. He was 66 years of age.

Son: Shawn and wife Julie of Stratton, NE.
3 Grandchildren: Holly, Travis and Samantha of Stratton, NE.
Sister: Valeria (Val) Satchell and husband Tom of Littleton, CO.
Father-in-law: Raymond Haller (Vena) of Grand Junction, CO.
Mother-in-law: Shirley Patton (Bill) of Trenton, NE.
Sister-in-law: Pam Carrell (Doug) of Frederick, CO.
Brother-in-law: Chuck Haller of Grand Junction, CO.
Numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Darroll was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Jonathan Daniel, brother Norbert (Bub), sister Laura Stidham and brother Verlan Knight.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017, 10:30 a.m. (CT), at the United Methodist Church of Stratton, Nebraska, with Pastor Rod Heilbrun officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Stratton, Nebraska. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017, 2:00-6:00 p.m. (CT), at the United Methodist Church of Stratton.
Memorials have been established to the Stratton Volunteer Fire Department, Stratton EMTs and the United Methodist Church of Stratton.
