Deborah Ann Garrido was born to Edwin Hanson and Mary Joan (Fleming) Latus in Petaluma, California on June 5, 1955. Deb attended elementary school at St. John Catholic School and went on to graduate high school from El Cerrito High with the class of 1973. She married James Rowell on September 20, 1975 in Reno, Nevada and to this union James Rowell Jr. was born. Debbie later married Gerald Garrido on January 21, 1984 in Alameda, California and soon son, J.T and daughter, Sharon joined the family.
Deb and Jerry made their home in San Leandro, California where she worked various office and restaurant jobs. Debbie was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Bayview Auxiliary #2323 in El Cerrito where she served as vice president. In 1994 the family moved to Imperial, Nebraska where Deb stayed home and cared for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting and was a voracious reader.
Deborah passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home. She was 64 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James Rowell Jr, and husband Jerry.

Brother-in-law, Don Garrido and wife, Norma of San Jose, California
Sister-of-the-heart, Sharon Russell and Husband, Thomas of Imperial, Nebraska
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. (MT), Thursday, March 5, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Imperial with Father Bernard Lorenz celebrating. Inurnment will follow services in Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
No viewing; cremation was chose.
A memorial has been established in Deborah’s name.
