Donald F. O’Neil
Longtime resident of rural Wauneta passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at the Perkins County Community Hospital, Grant, Nebraska. Donald was 77 years of age. Donald loves in life were his family, cattle, and the land he farmed.
Survivors include his wife, of 56 years, Marilyn (Roschewski) O’Neil, of Rural Wauneta, NE. Children; Sandra Reinke and husband, Doug, of Imperial, NE, Kathleen Misfeldt and husband, Marty, of Blair, NE, Shaun O’Neil and wife, Mindy, of Brighton, CO, Shannon O’Neil and wife, Sandy, of Wauneta, NE. Grandchildren; Skylar Reinke of Hastings, NE, Mitchel Misfeldt (Melissa Bavitz) of Prairie Village, KS, Avery Misfeldt of Blair, NE, Madeline Misfeldt (Devon Vancura) of Ames, IA. Bo O’Neil of Hastings,NE, Ella O’Neil of Wauneta, NE, and Tyler O’Neil of Wauneta, NE. Siblings; Ron O’Neil and wife, Nancy, of Wauneta, NE, Mary Carman of Imperial, Ne, and Patti Fanning, of Wauneta, NE. Brother-In-Law; Keith Roschewski and wife, Dwana, of Benkelman, NE. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
As per Donald’s wishes, cremation was chosen with a private family inurnment held Sunday morning, February 13th, 2022, at the Riverside Cemetery of Wauneta.
A memorial, In Donald’s memory, has been suggested to the O’Neil Family for a future designation.
