Donna Mae (Rufenacht) Fuller of Enders, Nebraska, passed away June 5, 2011, at the Chase County Hospital in Imperial, Nebraska. She was 65 years of age.
Donna was born to Kenneth and Ina Johnson on July 28, 1945, in Bayard, Nebraska. Donna graduated from Sidney High School in Sidney, Nebraska. She married Sandy Rufenacht on August 9, 1964. To this union were born two sons: Sandy Rufenacht Jr. and Tracy Rufenacht and one daughter. Sandy and Donna owned and operated Sandy’s Country Ford in Imperial, Nebraska, from 1977 to 1990.
On July 27, 2002, Donna married Rod Fuller. To this union a stepdaughter, Debra Clouse, was added to the family. Rod and Donna made their home in Enders, Nebraska. They owned and operated The Class Act in the former Methodist church from 1997 to 2000. At the time of her death, they owned and operated Rod Fuller, Inc., a collectable firearms business in Imperial, Nebraska.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ina Johnson, one infant daughter, sister Wanda Riley, and brothers Norman and Frank Johnson.
Survivors Include: Husband: Rod Fuller of Enders, NE Sons: Sandy Rufenacht Jr. and wife Melissa of Castle Rock, CO. Tracy Rufenacht and wife Kelli of Monument, CO. Stepdaughter: Debra Clouse of Aurora, Nebraska 2 Grandchildren: Alexa Rufenacht and Preston Rufenacht of Castle Rock, CO 2 Step-Grandchildren: Jacob Deaver of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Megan Deaver of Kearney, NE 2 Sisters: Thelma Mount of Bridgeport, NE Joyce Mork and husband Gary of Shelton, WA Numerous nieces and nephews.
Donna enjoyed traveling with her beloved husband Rod and their dog DD. Her pride and joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Donna’s hobbies included gardening, painting ceramics and traveling with friends to play the slot machines. In addition to her hobbies, Donna loved celebrating and decorating for Christmas and helping less fortunate families during the holidays.
Graveside inurnment services for Donna will be held Thursday afternoon, 2:30 P.M. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, Nebraska, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. A “Celebration of Life” open house will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Rod and Donna Fuller’s home in Enders, Nebraska.
No Visitation, Donna Chose Cremation.
