Eileen (Haarberg) Martell
Eileen Fern was born March 28, 1930, to Dick and Lena (Alsleben) Haarberg at Wauneta, Nebr. She was baptized into the Lutheran Faith as an infant, and later in 1943 was confirmed at St Paul’s Lutheran Church south of Wauneta.
Eileen married Louis Clay in 1946. To this union four daughters were born. In 1953 they moved to Englewood, Colo. where they made their home. Louis passed away in 1985. Eileen married Rusty (Clarence) Martell in 1990. In 2003 they moved to Imperial, Nebraska, to retire. Rusty passed away in 2004. Eileen remained in Imperial until present.
Eileen was employed 15 years at Englewood Shirt Laundry, and 20 years at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colo. Eileen enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, putting jig saw puzzles together, and dancing.
Eileen passed away Friday morning, June 26, 2020, at the Chase County Community Hospital, Imperial. She was 90 years of age.
Preceding her in death are her parents, granddaughter Sheila Lapp, grandson Danny Garrison Jr, granddaughter-in-law Petra Garrison, granddaughter Deborah (Garrison) Andhal, great grandson Michael Dreiling, son-in-law Danny Garrison, sister-in-law Shirley Haarberg, son-in-law Mike Dreiling, brother-in-law Eldon Roschewski, and sister Mildred Roschewski.
Survivors include daughters Dorene Garrison of Imperial, NE, Cheryl Dreiling of Imperial, NE, Karen (Lloyd) Lapp of Hamlet, NE, Denise (Jim) Shrout of Imperial, NE, 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for will be held Tuesday morning, June 30, 2020, 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Private family inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Eileen’s wishes were to be cremated.
