Eunice Barnes
Eunice Barnes was born to John and Wilhelmina (Plump) Kamp on December 24, 1933 in Denver, Colorado. She obtained her GED and went on to recieve her LPN license. Over the years she worked in many nursing homes and served as an in-home care person for countless individuals.
Eunice retired in the early 1990’s and moved to Wauneta, Nebraska where she lived until the time of her passing. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, listening to music and caring for her animals: 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Eunice passed early Tuesday morning, July 25, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, half-brother, John W. Kamp, sister, Clara Stoel and daughter, Patricia L. Fearnow.
Survivors include:
Son, Joseph Lewis Pritchard III of Colorado
Daughter, Linda Hyde and husband, Mark of Dubuque, Iowa
Adopted Brother, Myron Redden of Wauneta, Nebraska
2 granddaughters: Allison Smith and Dana Eaton & 1 great-grandson on the way: Riley James
Sister, Julia Verways
Sister, Marjorie VandeKoy
And sister, Mildred Travis and husband, Richard
Memorial services were held Friday afternoon, July 28, 2017 in Kittredge, Colorado. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Eunice’s memory.
