Evan A. League
Evan Arthur league was born November 19th, 1923, in Haigler, Nebraska, to Raymond E. and Anna S. (Hawkinson) League. His family moved to a farm south of Stratton, Nebraska, when Evan was a young boy. He graduated from Stratton High School in 1942.
Evan married Louise Virginia Livingston in May of 1945, in Denver, Colorado. The couple made their home in Denver before settling in several communities in Nebraska including; Lexington, Broken Bow, Fremont, and Kearney. The couple along with their family moved back to the Denver area in the early 1960’s and continued to reside there until present.
Evan was self-employed, starting out in auto body repair. He then endeavored into television repair and sales which became his occupation, owning and operating many different stores throughout the years. Evan enjoyed his family and grandchildren whenever he could and loved flying.
Evan passed away early Sunday Morning, January 28th, 2018, at the Villa at Sunny Acres Care Center in Thornton, Colorado. He was 94 years of age.

6 Great-Grandchildren: Zachary, Corran, Cody,Chloee, Adam, and Luke

Sister: Eileen Freed of Wylie, TX
Sister: Delores Campbell, Longmont, CO
Sister-In-Law: Ila League of Stratton, NE
Sister-In-Law: Marie League of Porterville, CA

Evan was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Louise, brothers;
Vearl, Bud, Howard, Bob, Mike, Dick, Buck, and twin brothers; Ray and Roy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, February 3rd, 2018, 11:00 A.M. (CENTRAL TIME) at the United Methodist Church of Stratton, Nebraska, with Pastor Rod Heilburn officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Stratton, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held before services on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, starting at 8:00 A.M. (CENTRAL TIME), at the United Methodist Church of Stratton, Nebraska.
A memorial has been established in Evan’s memory.
