Genny Rowley
Genevieve Elsie Rowley was born April 10th, 1931, to Roy E. and Orinda V. (Weiss) Hedges, in Imperial, Nebraska. As a youngster she attended school in Imperial, graduating from Chase County High School in 1950. On July 9th, 1951, Genny married Max Ardell Rowley, in Imperial, and to this union three children were born, Dan, Diana and Brenda. Two weeks after their marriage, Max was called to duty in Korea. After his tour in Korea the family resided in Enders, NE, until 1972, when they moved to Imperial, and made their home till present.
Genny was employed by the Enders Public School, the Chase County Hospital, and the Chase County Schools as a cook. She will be always remembered by all the students she feed over the years. She loved to bake, gardening, and going for rides with Max in the car.
Genny passed away Friday morning, May 20th, 2016, at the Mother Hull Home in Kearney, Nebraska. She was 85 years of age.

Genny was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max in 2011, and daughter, Diana Fontaine.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning, May 28th, 2016, 10:00 A.M. (Mountain Time) at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church of Imperial, with Pastor Todd Burpo officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial.
Visitation will be held Friday afternoon, May 27th, 2016, 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home in Imperial.
A memorial has been established to the Chase County Senior Center, Imperial, NE
