Glenda Aurelia Loeffler was born May 5, 1930, in Wauneta, Nebraska, to George Edward and Wilma Rowena (Waidley) Rowley. Glenda grew up and attended school in Imperial, Nebraska, where she graduated with the class of 1948 from Chase County High School.

On December 24, 1947, Glenda married Frank Olen Loeffler in Grant, Nebraska. The couple settled in Imperial and Glenda was employed at Ben Franklin, Skeel’s Jack & Jill and the Imperial Manor, retiring at the age of 76. Glenda enjoyed reading, painting by numbers, bingo and crossword puzzles, she especially loved all family activities. Glenda was a member of the Imperial Berean Church.

Glenda passed away Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2020, at the Great Plains Health Hospital in North Platte, NE. She was 90 years of age.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Olen; daughter Mary, parents George and Wilma Rowley; sister Gwendolyn Harris; brothers Grover, Gail, Bob, Darrell, Gene and Dennis; and grandson Michael Dreiling.

Survivors Include:
Son: Alex Loeffler and wife Mary Ann of Roseland, NE.
Daughter: Aurelia Redden and husband David of North Platte, NE.
9 Grandchildren: Doyle Loeffler, Doug (Sharilyn) Lee, Dustin (Denise) Lee, Michael (Stacy) Lee, Craig (Desiree)Loeffler, Monica Peterson, Deavon (Shanna) Hamilton, Tyler (Tanya) Redden, and Dawnya (Rick) Dreiling.
16 Great-grandchildren: Sean Loeffler, Josh Loeffler, Maddison Lee, Calvin Lee, Alisha Hastings, Zeke Lee, Keisha Leeper, Alan Loeffler, Alex Loeffler, Tondarae Francis, Michael Peterson, Rebekah Peterson, Tyler Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Laura Dreiling, and Kassidy Loeffler.
3 Step-grandchildren: Natasha Bomberger, Dillon Bomberger and Brandi Bomberger.
8 Great, great-grandchildren: Riley Francis, Hadley Doyle, Aidyn Bomberger, Sophia Bomberger, Winston Loeffler, Isaac Loeffler, Nia Loeffler and L.J. Bomberger.
Sisters-In-Law: Evelyn and JoAnn Rowley.
Brother-In-Law: August Loeffler.

Graveside Services for Glenda will be held Thursday morning, July 2, 2020, 11:00 A.M.(MT) at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, Nebraska, with Randy Hayes officiating.

Following Glenda’s wishes there will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established to the Loeffler family for a future designation.
