Gordon Lee Rammage Sr. was born January 12, 1936 in Kearney, Nebraska to Roy and Erna (Schirneker) Rammage. He attended school through the tenth grade and volunteered for the United States Air Force on June 1, 1954. Gordon received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his time in military service. He married Janet Brimbau on May 19, 1956 in Edwardsville, Illinois and the couple lived in France where Gordon was stationed. Gordon received his Honorable Discharge from the Air Force in December of 1957; he had achieved the rank of Airman Second Class.
Gordon and Janet moved to various locations following his leaving the service and finally settled in the Enders, Nebraska area in 1983. He would live in Enders for the rest of his life. Gordon was a self-employed TV Technician. He was known to say, “If I can’t fix it, it isn’t broken”. Gordon’s eyesight began failing and he turned to his true love of carpentry, working on numerous houses in the area. In addition to woodworking, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, square-dancing and playing cards.
Gordon passed away March 25th, 2019 at the Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Nebraska. He was 83 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Crystal Zimbelman.

Son, Clay Alan Rammage and wife, Cindy of Delano, Minnesota
5 grandchildren: Shannon Rammage, Jeff Rammage, Dani Zimbelman, Kimberly Zimbelman and Cassie Palmer
6 great-grandchildren: Shailyn, Keltyn, Kadrian, Saviana, Evin and Drayvin
1 great-great-grandson, Maddox
Sister, Janice Wasson and husband, Don of Tucson, Arizona
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon, March 28th, 2019, 2:00 P.M. (MT) at the First United Methodist Church in Imperial with Pastor Melody Newman officiating and full Military Honors. Interment will immediately follow services in the Blanche Cemetery in Rural Chase County, Nebraska.
Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon, March 27th, 2019 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. (MT) at the funeral home in Imperial.
A memorial has been established in Gordon’s name for future designation.
