Jayne Ann Miller was born to Wesley and Nora (Patterson) Seamands on November 25, 1947 in Riverton, Wyoming. As a child, Jayne was very active and enjoyed her time in the local 4-H chapter. She graduated from Laramie High School with the class of 1966 and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming in 1971.
Jayne was united in marriage to Roger Miller on June 7, 1969 in Laramie Wyoming. Together they raised one son, Timothy. The couple followed their careers and lived in Wyoming, Montana, and Corvallis, Oregon. Jayne worked first as a home economics teacher and then went on to a career with Hewlett Packard as an administrative assistant.
Roger and Jayne moved to Dundy County, Nebraska in 1999. Jane was active in Benkelman. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Benkelman and was active in the local United Methodist Women’s organization. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting and coloring right until the end of her life.
Jayne passed away Wednesday evening, March 28, 2018 at the Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman. She was 70 years of age.

Sister, Gayle Garcia and husband, Larry of Rock Springs, WY
Sister, Sally Benson and husband, Ray of Thornton, CO
Sister-in-law, Carolyn Buff and husband, Jim of Casper, WY
And nieces, nephews and lots of girl cousins.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday afternoon, April 5, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Benkelman with Pastor Rod Heilbrun officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
No visitation; Jayne chose cremation.
A memorial has been established in Jayne's memory.
