Jerry Bubak
Jerry Dean Bubak was born on October 16, 1936 to Jerry Sr. and Dorothy (Ochsner) Bubak in Ansley, Nebraska. They moved to Twin Falls, Idaho and later to Cozad, Nebraska where he played in all sports. Jerry graduated with the class of 1954.
He was united in marriage to Vivian Anderson on December 27, 1961 in Stromsburg, Nebraska. The couple moved to Champion, Nebraska in 1968. To this union three sons were borm: Chris David, Jeffrey Dean and Jay D. Bubak.
Jerry served his country for 10 years in the National Guard. He faithfully attended the Imperial Bible Church where he taught 5th and 6th grade Sunday School classes for many years. He enjoyed football, loved cattle and horses and was a hardworking farmer.
Jerry passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 28, 2015 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was 79 years of age.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Dorothy Bubak and parents-in-law, Jim and Doris Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Bubak of Imperial;Son, Chris Bubak and wife, Natalie of Lincoln, Nebraska; son, Jeff Bubak and wife, Kim of Imperial; son, Jay Bubak and wife, Christel of Almaty, Kazakhstan; grandchildren: Michaela, Kaycee, Caleb, Jared, Sarah, Justin, Ashley, Austin, Abby, Alex, AnneDee, Alynn and Adella; brother, Dale Bubak and wife, Bonnie of Tekamah, Nebraska; brother, Bob Bubak and wife, Linda of Cozad, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Jim Anderson and wife, Delores of Stromsburg, Nebraska and brother-in-law, Doug Anderson and wife, Cheryl of Stromsburg, Nebraska
Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. (MT), Friday morning, November 6, 2015 at the Imperial Bible Church with Pastor Robby Clay officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.
Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. (MT), Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2015 at the funeral home in Imperial.
A Memorial had been established to New Tribes Mission.
