KATHY M. HAMILTON
Kathy Mae Hamilton was born October 30, 1959, to James M. and Pearl J. (Hicks) Andrew. As a young girl she moved with her family to Palisade, Nebraska, where she grew up and attended school. Kathy graduated from Palisade High School in 1978, and went on to attend Kearney State College.
Kathy married Doug Hamilton on July 23, 1983, at the United Methodist Church in Wauneta, Nebraska, and to this union three children where Born, Toby, Jeffrey, and Kayla. The couple settled and made their home in Wauneta until moving to Alliance, Nebraska in 1998. Kathy worked at the Trinidad Bean Company and the First State Bank in Imperial and after moving to Alliance she was employed at the Box Butte Treasurer’s office.
Kathy had many hobbies including reading and following Husker Football. She loved her time with family, especially grandson, Mason.
Kathy passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Box Butte General Hospital, in Alliance, NE. Kathy was 52 years of age.

Brothers: Boyd Andrew and wife, Jacki, of Lincoln, NE Charley Andrew and Wife, Deb, of Wauneta, NE Sister: Sharon Miller and Husband, Tom, of Wauneta, NE
Father and Mother-In-Law: Bob and Clara Hamilton, Wauneta, NE Brother-In-Law: Dave Hamilton, Wauneta, NE
Kathy was preceded in death by her Brother: Lawrence Edwards and Sister Rose Christner.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 19, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta, with Pastor Bonnie McCord officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, NE
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Wauneta
A memorial has been established in Kathy’s memory.
