Kent Pribbeno

February 26, 1937 — December 10, 2012

Kent Pribbeno was born February 26, 1937, in Imperial, Nebraska, to Stanley and Gladyce (Brady) Pribbeno. He grew up and attended school in Imperial, graduating from Chase County High School in 1954. Kent married Donita Holscher in Imperial on October 30, 1955. It was in Imperial where they raised their four children and enjoyed watching their eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren grow.
Kent was the owner and operator of Kent Pribbeno Construction from the early 1970’s up until the time of his death. He was an avid lover of sports, including fishing, hunting, and golf.
Kent passed away Monday afternoon, December 10th, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. He was 75 years of age.
Survivors Include: Wife of 57 years Donita of Imperial; Sons: Michael and wife, Jana, Douglas and wife, Tracy, all of Imperial, NE. Daughters: Ann Smith and husband, Mike, of Imperial, NE., and Karla Bauman and husband, Andrew, of Parker, CO.
10 Grandchildren: Lindsey Teply and husband, Matt, Zeb Smith and Wife, Kate, Kailtyn and Trea Smith, Matthew Pribbeno and wife, Kassie, Nathan and Thomas Pribbeno, Leslie Chavez and husband, Tino, Tyler Pribbeno,and Alyse Bauman
5 Great-Grandchildren: Tate and Edisyn Teply, Ethan and Madelyn Clermont, and Evelyn Smith
Sisters: Scharlie Faubion and husband, Gaylord, of Lakewood, Colorado, and Jackie Claus, of Imperial, Nebraska.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson; Logan Bauman
Funeral Services will be held Saturday afternoon, December 15, 2012, 2:00 P.M. (MT) at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. A private family inurnment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial at a later date.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon, December 14, 2012, 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. (MT) at the funeral home in Imperial
