Kimberly Ann Paul, 67, a long-time resident of North Platte, passed away at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman on November 9, 2021.
She was born in Topeka, Kansas to Thomas and Dolores (Weyer) Clickner on July 5, 1954. She grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she met the love of her life Michael J. Paul. They were married on May 18, 1984 in North Platte where they made their home. Kim enjoyed photography, painting, drawing, genealogy, music, and adult coloring. She played several instruments including the piano, violin, and guitar. Kim and Mike both enjoyed operating their ham radio and storm chasing. Their home was decorated with many of Kim’s paintings, drawings and photos.
Along with her parents, Kim is preceded in death by her husband Mike on December 7, 2020.
Survivors include her sister Terri (Raymond) Wood of Newberry, MI, nephew Kenneth Russell of Whispering Pines, NC, niece Katelyn Russell of Williamston, MI, great-nieces and great-nephew Lily, Claire and Wyatt Russell of Mason, MI, and several cousins.
Following Kim’s wishes, cremation was chosen, and a private family inurnment will be held in Michigan at a later date.
