Larry D. Phifer, 59, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on October 12th, 2015. Larry was born the 6th child of Marlin and Winifred (Baney) Phifer on July 5th, 1956, in Benkelman, Nebraska. He was raised on the family farm, northwest of Benkelman. As a young boy, Larry attended school in a one room school house, District #22, in the country near his home. He graduated from Benkelman High School in 1974. Larry enjoyed sports while in school and aspired to be the best he could. He was always cleaning his cars as he took great pride in vehicles. The things he enjoyed most in his life were farming, his music and his dogs. On July 5th, 1975, he was united in marriage to Carol Pursley in Stratton, Nebraska. To this union 2 children were born: Eric Camron, 38 and Sable Dawn, 24. Larry spent the most of his life farming and driving a semi-truck.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Marlin Eugene; and one sister, Jacque Kier Beeson.

Wife: Carol of Casper, Wyoming.
Son: Eric of Casper, Wyoming.
Daughter: Sable of Casper, Wyoming.
3 Sisters: Marilyn Memmer and husband Richard of Thornton, Colorado.
Carolyn Boyd and husband Raymond of Burlington, Colorado.
Diana Molzahn and husband Michael of Trenton, Nebraska.
Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A Memorial Service is being held on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building in Benkelman, Nebraska. Memorial contributions may be made to Eric and Sable Phifer at 3055 East 1st St., Casper, Wyoming 82609.
