LaVina Bardsley
Lavina Kay Bardsley was born to Floyd Lecurgus and Sophia Stella (Kerchal) Goings in Imperial, Nebraska on September 13, 1936. LaVina attended and graduated from, Wauneta High School, Wauneta, Nebraska.
She was united in marriage to Richard Bardsley at Mt. Zion Methodist Church on January 10, 1954. The couple settled on the “South-divide” near Wauneta. LaVina kept busy as a housewife and also as a talented seamstress. She and Richard purchased the Good Times Bar in Wauneta, where she was very active as a co-owner and operator. She enjoyed many activities; some of which were: bowling, gardening, sewing, cooking and putting puzzles together.
LaVina passed away at Heritage of Wauneta on June 13, 2012. She was 75 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Karen Williams, brother-in-law Frank Williams, sister Velma Hromas and Brother-in-law Ray Hromas.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years Richard Bardsley

Daughter Rhonda and husband, Earl Fawcett
Grandchildren: Clayton Fawcett; Joe and wife, Tania Fawcett; Shanna and husband, Tim Schulte; Tyson and wife, Sara Bardsley; and Tanner Bardsley and Lynsie Crider.
Great-grandchildren: Daniel Fawcett, Halle Bardsley, Kenzie Bardsley, Roman Schulte, Emmitt Bardsley
Brothers Fred and wife, Kay Goings and Dennis and wife, Colleen Goings.
Memorial Services for LaVina Bardsley will be held 11:00 a.m. (MT), Monday, June 25, 2012 at Liewer Funeral Home of Wauneta, Nebraska with Pastor Bonnie McCord officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
There will be no visitation, as LaVina chose cremation.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
