Lillian Elizabeth Wellman, daughter of Roy and Margaret Barkman Trudell, was born February 12, 1949 at Keene Valley, New York. She was made God’s own child through Holy Baptism on April 17, 1949 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Malone, NY. She grew up in Saranac Lake, NY. She graduated from The College of St. Rose, Albany, NY with a B.A. in education. She made public profession of her faith at Immanuel Lutheran, Barnhart, Missouri where she was also united in marriage to Keith Wellman on August 6, 1973. This union God blessed with 3 children. She was active in the parishes in which her husband served: Wilmot and Millbank, SD; Lexington, MO; Klickitat and Bingen, WA; and finally rural Wauneta, Nebraska where they lived from 1999 to present.
She was called by her Savior, July 10, 2011 after 62 plus years of God’s grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Rebecca.

Gerry Trudell of Gansevoort, NY Phillip Trudell of South Attleboro, ME Paul Trudell of Augusta, GA Eric Trudell of Alaska Many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Lillian Wellman will be held Thursday morning, July 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Rural Wauneta, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Waco, Nebraska, Friday morning, July 15, 2011 at 11:00 (CT).
Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon, July 13, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Imperial.
