Lucille Estherine Edwards was born April 13, 1925, to Willard and Permelia (Ross) Forbes, one of twelve children. She grew up in Dundy County, graduating from Parks High School in 1942, Valedictorian of her class.
Lucille married Bruce Edwards on March 26. 1944, in Benkelman, and three sons were born to this union: Ron, Royce and Mardell. The couple farmed and ranched as well as Lucille working for the Dundy County ASC Office for 25 years. She also worked part-time for several other offices in Benkelman before retiring.
Lucille passed away Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2020, at the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home in Benkelman. Lucille was 95 years of age.

Royce Edwards and wife, Gracie, of Estes Park, CO
Mardell Edwards and wife, Sherrie, of Phillips, NE
5 Grandchildren

Sisters: Ida Whittenber, Yuma, CO

Velma Grant (Darrell) of Desoto, MO.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Bruce, brothers; Lewis, Harold, Leonard, and Victor, Two sisters; Ruth and Viola
Memorials have been suggested to the Trinity Baptist Church of Benkelman, NE
Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning, May 13, 2020, 11:00 A.M. (MT) at the Benkelman Cemetery, with Rev. Mike Clements officiating
