Mark Allen McCannon was born September 27, 1956 in Denver Colorado. Mark was the first son of Helen Paine McCannon Einspahr and Raymond Harvey McCannon. Mark was preceded in death by his grandmother Zilphia Grable McCannon, his father Raymond Harvey McCannon, two brothers Phillip Wayne and Roger Dean McCannon. His survivors include his Mother, Helen Einspahr, Ogallala Nebraska; brother Hal (Mary) McCannon of Englewood Colorado , three sisters; Darla (Preston) Case of Venango, Ne, Frosteanna Elmquist of Sterling CO, Lisa Einspahr of Madrid, NE and brother ThorShawn (Melody) McCannon of Edgerton, KS. Mark had five Children; Amanda (Mandie) Collins of Birmingham, Alabama; Mark (Desiree) McCannon of Westminster, Co; Raymond (Kacee) Guillen of Aurora, CO; Antoinette Guillen of Denver, CO; Michelle (Anthony) Roybal of Denver, CO. Mark has 18 Grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mark is also survived by a very special friend Donna Wood and her family.
Mark served 6 months in the United States Army. Mark spent most of his life in Denver Colorado until 1998 when he moved to Imperial Nebraska. He was employed in the Imperial area until December 2014. Mark enjoyed the Imperial area and was active in the ABATE (American Bikers Aiming towards Education), Eagles and VFW. Mark started at a very young age riding motorcycles in approximately 1972 his father would take Mark, Hal, Phillip, Roger, Shawn and Darla to Fairplay Colorado for the Burro races camping, and riding dirt bikes. Mark enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. He enjoyed gambling, playing pool and his love for riding motorcycles. Early in 2015 he became ill and was diagnosed with cancer in April 2015. Mark passed away at his home in Imperial Nebraska on May 18, 2015. He was 58 years of age.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 20th, 2015, 3:00 P.M. at the VFW Hall, Imperial, NE A memorial has been established in Mark’s memory.
