MARK SEYBOLD
Mark Lester Seybold was born to Bill and Dottie Seybold on July 9, 1960 in Stratton NE. He passed in Kearney NE on December 18, 2017 at the age of 57.
Mark attended grade school in Wilber NE until moving to Benkelman in 1973 where he finished his schooling.
Mark and Julie Anderson were blessed with his first born, a son Bryan Keith in 1977. He was united in marriage to Rhonda Kay Baney and to this union was born a daughter, Christina May in 1979.
Mark joined the US Army in 1985. An American flag flew proudly in Mark's front yard as a constant reminder of his devout patriotism and love for his Country.
His grandpa, dad and uncle instilled in him a love for hunting, fishing and golfing. A love for all these hobbies along with a competitive game of cards were passed down to his children, Bryan and Christy.
Mark's employment over the years spanned from working in the oil rigs to being a Lineman for the City of Benkelman. He has always cherished the relationships that were built with 'the boys' at the city.
Preceded in death were his father and mother, Bill and Dottie Seybold, grandparents, Charles and Esther Seybold, Clyde and Callie Wisdom, niece Lindsey DeWester, and his beloved Uncle and Aunt, Dick and Georgie Seybold. Along with many Wisdom Uncles and Aunts.
Survivors are his special friend Karen Kaufman; son Bryan Anderson and wife Kim of Omaha NE, daughter Christy Seybold and cherished grandchildren Abagail, Aubrie, and Stefan of McCook NE, sisters--Susan Rushing (Ray) of Madison IL, Mary Seybold of Marquette KS, Terry Sulzbach (Gary) of Cleveland TN, and Julie DeWester (Dick) of Benkelman NE, cousin David Seybold and family and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and an eclectic collection of dear friends.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 23rd, 2017, 10:30 A.M. (MOUNTAIN TIME) at the Zion Lutheran Church of Benkelman with Pastor Doug Hjelmstad officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery, Benkelman, NE.
No visitation, mark chose cremation.
A memorial has been established in Mark’s memory.
