MARSHA MUELLER
Marsha Christine (Krueger) Mueller was born on October 11, 1964, to Russell and Donna (Martin) Krueger. As a young girl she grew up and attended school in Holyoke, Colorado, graduating from Holyoke High School in 1983.
Marsha married Kevin Eugene Mueller in Amherst, Colorado, on November 26th, 1983, and the couple settled in Imperial, where they resided until 1989. In 1989, they made Ogallala, NE, their home until relocating back to Imperial in 2010.
Marsha worked various jobs while in Imperial, including the Imperial Street Department and NAPA. While living in Ogallala she worked at the Perkins County Hospital as a receptionist until she could no longer work due to her Multiple Sclerosis in 2001. Marsha battled her MS for over 10 years and most of her symptoms were chronic fatigue, chronic pain, migraine headaches, and her cognitive thinking. Marsha was a fighter and a strong willed person and she tried to enjoy life the very best she could. In the public’s eye no one really knew how much she suffered from this disease because she tried not to show how much it hurt and never wanted any sympathy.
Marsha hobbies were reading and crocheting. She never went anywhere without a book or her crocheting bag. She loved spending time with family, camping and fishing. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with Kevin doing little things together.
Marsha passed away Wednesday morning, December 28th, 2011, at her home in Imperial, NE. She was 47 years of age.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Russell.

Her first grandchild is due January 8th, of 2012

Marsha fought a courageous battle against Pancreatic Cancer and lost but during this fight, she never gave up her strong will to live. Even up to the very last days she mentioned to Kevin that she was not ready to give up and not to give up on her.
Her family was blessed to be by her side holding her hands when God called her home and she left this earthly world.
Funeral Services were Monday Morning, January 2, 2012, 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, NE.
Visitation was held Sunday afternoon, January 1, 2012, from 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home in Imperial.
A memorial has been established to the Chase County Hospital Cancer Walk
