Mary Louise Grace Bradney, the daughter of George M. and Catherine C. (Schlautman) Ebbers was born April 15, 1934 in Sterling, CO, she passed away at Dundy County Hospital on April 15, 2016 in Benkelman, NE. She was 82 years of age.
Mary was the fourth of nine daughters; the girls grew up helping their parents on the family farm in Yuma County, CO and graduated from Lone Star High School.
Mary was united in marriage to Ronald Dean Bradney on April 9, 1952 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in rural Yuma, CO.
Working together Mary and Dean raised their four children, moving several times and ending up as Owners of Dundy County Processors in Benkelman, NE in 1972 and Bradney’s Meat Processors in Curtis, NE. in 1976.
Traveling in their motorhome and spending time in Quartzsite, AZ was a source of enjoyment. Mary continued traveling to Arizona for several years following Dean’s death in 1984. Mary also enjoyed her flower gardens as well as her needlework and crocheting. Mary would also like to take long drives in the area. Mary enjoyed her sisters.
Attending her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren’s various events was very important to Mary – Her family was a source of pride and great joy.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant grandson, three sisters: Dorothy Lechman, Delores Brandt and Marcella Glanz, in-laws: Jonas & Addie Bradney, Tiny (Raymond) and Louise Drum, Harry Bradney, Shirley Ison, Aldean Bradney, Karl Drum, Joe Drum and Collin Bradney;
Survivors include her children: Gary (Barb) Bradney of Kearney, NE; David (Betty) Bradney of Benkelman, NE; Christina (Steve) Berry of McCook, NE; Brian (Teresa) Bradney of North Platte, NE.

Todd (Jill) Bradney of Papillion, NE; Traci Bradney of Curtis, NE; Heather (Troy) Wiese of Benkelman, NE; Shane (Avery) Bradney of Benkelman, NE; Rebecca (Tom) Weimers of McCook, NE; Jennifer (Taylor) Rogers of Gering, NE; Thomas Bradney of Omaha, Ne; Emily Bradney and her fiancé Queneth Salazar of Omaha, NE; Sammy Bradney of North Platte, NE.
As well as 12 Great-grandchildren
Her Sisters: Rosella Ebbers of Sterling, CO; Shirley ( Dale) Furrow of Iliff, CO; Mildred (Don) Silvius of Yuma, CO; Annebelle (Tom) Shoemaker of Woods Cross, UT; Helen Schrecengost and special friend David Nye of Parker, Co. Also survived by brother-in-law Forrest Bradney and Dean Ison.
A Rosary will be recited for Mary on Monday, April 18th, 2016 at 9:15 A.M. (Mountain Time) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Benkelman with a Funeral Mass following at 10:00 A.M. (Mountain Time) with Father Tom Wiedel celebrating.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon, April 17th, 2016, from 1:00-4:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Benkelman.
Memorials have been established to the Dundy County Hospital Foundation and the Hester Home in Benkelman.
