SHERRI WIESE
Sherri Louise Wiese was born April 30, 1955, at the Morehouse Hospital (Along with all of her siblings) in Benkelman, Nebraska. As a young girl she grew up and attended school in Benkelman, graduating from Dundy County High School in 1973.
Sherri married Bradley Lyle Wiese on June 16, 1973, at the Benkelman United Methodist Church. The couple settled in Benkelman, making the community their home till present.
Sherri was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Benkelman where she was active in the Women’s Bible Study. She had many hobbies including gardening, reading, and reaching out to family and friends on Facebook. Sherri cherished the many hours she spent with her grandchildren. She loved and enjoyed children. Sherri owned and operated a daycare center for many years. A great number of the young adults today, in the Benkelman area, attended Sherri’s daycare. Sherri also helped Brad with the businesses.
Sherri passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, June 14, 2020, at her home in Benkelman. Sherri was 65 years of age.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father; Frankie Lutz, grandparents; Martin and Ella Lutz and Dr. G. Albert and Marguerite Morehouse; In-Laws; Lyle and Esther Wiese

Memorial Services will be held Saturday evening, June 20, 2020, 5:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) at Camp Hiatt, Rural Benkelman, NE., with Rev. Doug Hjelmstad officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery at a later date.
No visitation, Sherri’s wishes were for cremation.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been suggested to the Sarah Ann Hester Memorial Home, Benkelman, NE.
