Terrin Barnard
Terrin Lee Barnard was born July 21, 1983 in Newton, Kansas. He was raised in the Wauneta, Nebraska area by his parents Todd and Teresa (Leatherman) Barnard.
Terrin attended, and graduated high school at Wauneta-Palisade High School. He went on the attend three years of college at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He made Fruita, Colorado his home, where he worked for Rocky Mountain Earth, working on and around natural gas drilling rigs.
Terrin had a passion for life. He had many hobbies that he shared with family and friends, many of which included going fast, the outdoors, or both. He enjoyed rock climbing, hiking, dirt bike riding, and Motocross. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Terrin passed away May 21, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska. He was 28 years old.
He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents and Grandfather Allan Dale Leatherman.
Survivors Include: Parents: Todd and Teresa Barnard of Wauneta, NE Brother: Kevin Barnard of Imperial, NE Grandparents: Doug and Shari Barnard, of Lamar, NE Elaine Leatherman of Moundridge,KS Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Funeral Services for Terrin Barnard were held Friday, May 25, 2012, 11:00 A.M. (MT) at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church, Imperial, with Pastor Todd Burpo and Dr. Daniel Marshall officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, NE.
Visitation was held Thursday afternoon, May 24, 2012, 2:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta, NE.
Memorials have been established to the Chase County Hospital or the Down Rider’s Fund % the Cornhusker Motocross Association.
