Terry Lasater
Terry Eugene Lasater was born October 20th, 1959, in McCook, Nebraska, to Jeff D. and Dorothy L. (Blume) Lasater. He grew up and attended School in McCook, Nebraska, graduating from McCook High School in 1978. Terry went on to attendTechnical school and became a prep-chef at the Nebraska State Capitol in 1981.
He returned to McCook area and on July 22, 1992, married the love of his life, Raina Marie Ratcliff, at Peace Lutheran Church in McCook. Terry and Raina settled in McCook, and resided in Culbertson and Bartley, Nebraska, before making Wauneta, Nebraska, their home.
Terry enjoyed gardening, building electric model cars, jamming with music while completing his exercises. He enjoyed the comradery and assisting at the Wauneta Senior Center and at the concession stand in the Chateau Theater at Wauneta. He also loved their pets, two dogs, two cats, and two pet birds.
Terry passed away early Tuesday morning, February 10, 2015, at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte. He was 55 years of age.
Survivors Include: Wife: Raina of Wauneta, Ne Step-Father: Duane Blume of McCook, NE Sister: Kandy D’rozario and husband, Gregg, of Tampa, FL Numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Jeff Lasater Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday morning, February 16th, 2015, 10:30 A.M. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta, Ne., with Pastor Leo Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta, NE
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, February 15th, 2015, 2-6:00 P.M. (MT) at the funeral home in Wauneta, NE.
A memorial has been established in Terry’s memory.
